🔍 About the Role

As a Process Delivery Specialist – R2R, you’ll work within IBM's Business Process Operations (BPO) team—a division of IBM Consulting. This role focuses on core accounting functions such as:

• Preparing financial statements
• Performing reconciliations
• Managing inter-company transactions
• Overseeing fixed assets and general ledger activities

You will also engage in financial reporting, month-end closing, and collaborate across teams to meet service-level agreements (SLAs) and ensure accuracy in financial operations.

🧩 Key Responsibilities

• Handle accounting tasks for GL, fixed assets, cash/bank, inventory, inter-company, and indirect tax
• Prepare Balance Sheet and P&L reports
• Ensure accurate month-end closing
• Post journal entries and maintain ERP records
• Identify risks/opportunities related to revenue, costs, and profitability
• Assist with internal and external audits
• Adhere to client-specific SLAs and deadlines

🎓 Preferred Education

• Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (though a bachelor’s with experience may also be considered)

✅ Required Experience & Skills

• 2–4 years of experience in Record to Report (R2R) domain
• Solid understanding of:
• General Ledger (GL) processes
• Fixed Assets and Inter-company accounting
• Cash reconciliation
• Journal entry posting
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.)
• Ability to prepare and analyze financial reports
• Hands-on month-end closure experience
• Strong audit coordination and stakeholder communication skills
